I mean, we had a 30 hour drive with an old bus which broke down 3 times, but it was fun being a part of such a big event. Our concert colided with Children of Bodom's, so we had hard competition, but the ones that witnessed our show was yelling for more......they must have been pleased. The party was cool, and it was weird sitting next to Scott Ian of Anthrax eating my meal. We also met up with a representative of our Japanese label Spiritual Beast and signed a new deal. Rock On

napisano: 14. 08. 2004. - Wacken is a well organized festival with a lot of great bands. The weather was fine, almost too hot for us. We had a great show with good response from the audience. We met a lot of cool germans, drank a whole lot of beer and had a wonderful time. It couldn't have been better!

napisano: 15. 08. 2004. - I think we are kind of an outsider at the Wacken Festival. I mean we are not that typical 80's metal as most of the bands are. But we had a very warm welcome from the crowd and was told that there were about 3.000 people seeing to us. We played a great show, had lots of fun, after the show we were drunk most of the time. So all in all it doesn't really matter that the payment we got couldn't cover all the expenses we had. We got money - but in the end we paid to play and it was worth it cuz it was an experience that we will never forget! Awesome!

napisano: 16. 08. 2004. - even if the way to Wacken and back was quite exhausting for us and even if two bandmembers were not as healthy as they should be, I think Wacken is always worth it! We really had fun on stage - and we had the impression that the audience had that much fun as well - even if it was 2 o'clock in the night after a 3-days festival!

napisano: 18. 08. 2004. - We felt very honored as Holger Huebner from WOA called us to offer us the chance to play this years Wacken Festival.
We were really looking forward to this event which was by far the most important gig in our career so far.
And we were not at all disapointed when the Wacken weekend arrived.
The festival was really good organised and everybody we had to deal with was very friendly and helpful.
The festival crew and the fans gave us the chance to feel like rockstars for some days.
Where else do you have the chance to go to a wonderful catering area and have breakfast with Saxon?!?!?!
Our gig itself was really cool also, we rocked the stage and kicked some asses.
We just can say a big THANK YOU to our fans and to W:O:A. You rule!!!

napisano: 19. 08. 2004. - The first time we played in WACKEN in 1998 and in comparison to this year the festival increased to a highly professional organized event with two big stages with a video-screen in between and the smaller Party- and Tent - stage where the audience can listen and watch upcoming bands. The fan can choose his favourite, which sometimes is not that easy, because the bands play parallel on different stages and this is the critical thing about such a big amount of groups. The prices for drinks and food are too high and the quality was low. People even had to pay for showers and I think this is the consequence of such a high commercial festival- but people know about this development and they choose this festival because of its extra-ordinary and enthusiastic atmosphere. For DISBELIEF WACKEN 2004 was an incredible impression - the show was fantastic, the crowd went wild and this was a big party for everyone. And this is the main purpose of this festival - P A R T Y !!!!!

Well, first of all we'd like to outline we're the least band among the biggest and most famous names of the worldwide metal scene but we'd been considered like the others, not even for a while we felt this sensation.
The experience itself was really cool... playing in front of thousands is incredible: you can feel the whole energy of a lot of metalheads reaching you and supporting your music, your performance!! It's like nothing else in the world....
The organization was unexceptionable, perfect!! All helped and supported us in every steps of the festival.... from accommodation to soundcheck, from food to video recording!
For METHEDRAS it has been a great chance and we hope this could help us in the nearly future in spreading our music and our name across Europe and maybe the world!!
We would like to thank Wacken Open Air organization and promoters, Metal Hammer and Metallus.it for having permitted us to live such an immense experience!!
Finally we wish to thank you and Scar Magazine for support and visibility in your country.... let's know if interested in receiving our last release along with band informations and press reviews.

napisano: 01. 09. 2004. - This was our third Wacken and is was definitely the fuckin' best. The organization was superb this year and the metalheads here are simply the most crazy audience you can be able to achive in your live as a Metal band! Maybe a little bit too much people this year on the "holy" Wacken ground, but this the only little negativ thing I have to say!
It´s the international mixture that makes it so special I think. The peaceful, multicultural and energetic atmosphere that you can catch on no other festival, than at Wacken.
So Metalheads if you want to be in Metalheaven, you gotta come to Wacken at least once in your life! Feel free and see that Metal is the only law, join the party and then you will be atticted...

napisano: 02. 09. 2004. - Firstly, may we thank all the supporters of BAL-SAGOTH who turned up at WOA 2004 to see us. We greatly appreciate your support, now as always! It was also cool to get to meet so many of you during the signing session. WOA was a very cool event for us. Playing on such a huge stage was a great experience. It was our first live appearance in over 18 months, and it was also the first show with our new drummer who joined the band on such short notice only a few weeks before the festival! Although we were only given 30 minutes to play, we tried to give the crowd as many fan favourite tracks as possible, including classics like "Starfire Burning..." and the second part of the "Hyperborean Empire" trilogy. The crowd respose was great and we salute the massed ranks of die hard BAL-SAGOTH fans who made the event so memorable. Hope to see you next year when we tour Europe again upon the release of our forthcoming sixth album! Blodu Ok Jarna!

napisano: 13. 09. 2004. - Well Wacken was one of the only festival this summer that was blessed with sun and heat. Therefore the beers were flowing quite easily.
We arrived Thursday evening and checked into the hotel and then went to the festival-site to party. Goddamn that was a party. People everywhere getting wasted on any fluids available. Well long story cut short: I ended up bashing beers in the hotel bar with Charlie (Arch Enemy) till 7 in the morning.
The bus then left at 7.45 for the stage and we played at 11.00 in the burning sun with the worst hangover. AND we had a fuckin blast! The crowd were supercool and totally into metal in the morning. Hell yeah...I´ll play Wacken anytime again!
The Organisation was floorless and the food brilliant. So all in all it was an amazing few days in Germany. Sun , beers and metal. The best fuckin cocktail in the world.....(did I mention pussy!!??)
